Is restoration better than replacing my headlights?
For cloudy or yellowed lenses, yes — and far cheaper. Dealer replacement assemblies run $1,900 to $5,700 per pair before labor; restoration gives you clear lenses again for $100–$180.
Why do headlights turn yellow and cloudy?
The factory UV coating on the plastic lens breaks down from sun exposure over time, letting the lens oxidize and haze. We remove the damaged layer and seal it with a fresh ceramic UV coating.
